Ooooohhhh, the scenery here is breathtaking all year long and great for wildlife photography and/or setting up a camera to capture the magic of the northern lights.
Fox ‘n Fireweed, previously known as Cleft of the Rock Bed and Breakfast, is an established successful 5 cabin BnB with a customer base of both leisure and business guests. It is currently only being run during the Alaska Summer season, May 15-Sept 15. The cabins are located in a quiet wooded area just a few miles from downtown Tok and half a mile off the main highway. Each of the five cabins is independent of each other, contain their own private bathroom, cozy porches, differ in size, and have their own personalities with original artwork. The main house has two dining areas and a kitchen for guests' breakfast and the cabins are equipped with microwaves, mini-fridge and coffee machines for guests who wish to have breakfast in their cabin or to go. The main-house has a guest living room, front and back porch, dining/meeting room, guests gathering spaces to meet leisure and business needs, handicap accessible master bedroom, handicap ramp into the main house, and a recently remodeled basement garage currently used as a working art studio. Tok is a major hub on the Alaska Highway, as it's the first town when you enter Alaska, most travelers stay in Tok before further travel. Fox ‘n Fireweed has taken advantage of the positive business climate and created a successful business with an online presence, as well as a working relationship with several travel adgencies. The Alaska Summer Season is from May 15 and runs through the beginning of Sept, making it easier for owners to travel during the winter months if desired.
